Infrastructure AI Lead @ Google Cloud*

As an Infrastructure AI Tech Lead at Google Cloud, I specialize in architecting and scaling high-performance AI environments for enterprise customers across the EMEA and APAC regions. With over a decade of experience spanning cloud computing, cybersecurity, and distributed systems, I partner with organizations to build secure, resilient, and highly optimized platforms for their most demanding AI workloads.

My current focus is at the intersection of large language models (LLMs) and cloud infrastructure. I work extensively with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud TPUs, and advanced frameworks like JAX, PyTorch, and MaxText to optimize AI training and inference pipelines. I pair this AI focus with a deep, foundational background in security, compliance, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and serverless architectures.

Beyond architecture, I am a passionate technology advocate and community builder. I regularly present at industry conferences, run technical workshops, and create content to help organizations accelerate their AI and digital transformations.

Background

I spent the majority of my career working and supporting customers to build in the cloud. From my time in Redhat to AWS and currently with my favourite cloud - Google.

I'm based in Dubai, and when I'm not at a keyboard I'm usually spending time with my family or travelling

• Building on TPUs — Leveraging JAX and Maxtext to pre-train LLms
• ML infrastructure — training pipelines, serving systems, and the gap between research and production
